Fee & Network Disclosure

This page describes the fee structure and network scope for ImplicitEx transfers. All fees and totals are shown in the Transfer Portal before any wallet prompt is triggered.

Platform Fee

ImplicitEx charges a 1% platform fee on the recipient amount. The fee is calculated as: fee = recipient amount × 0.01. It is deducted from the sender's wallet at the time of transfer execution.

Example: sending 100 USDC to a recipient results in a 1.00 USDC platform fee. The recipient receives 100 USDC; the total deducted from the sender's wallet is 101.00 USDC.

Total Debit Calculation

The total amount deducted from the sender's wallet is the recipient amount plus the platform fee. Approval (when required) must cover the full total debit, not just the recipient amount. The Transfer Portal displays all three values — recipient amount, fee, and total — before any wallet action.

Fee Shown Before Confirmation

No wallet prompt is triggered before the Transfer Portal has displayed a complete preview showing the recipient address, USDC amount, platform fee, total debit, network, and contract address. There are no hidden charges.

Gas Fees

Gas fees are paid by the sender in MATIC and are separate from the 1% platform fee. Gas costs depend on current Polygon network conditions and are shown as an estimate in the Network module of the Transfer Portal. ImplicitEx does not receive gas fees.

Approval Is Not Execution

If the sender's wallet has not previously approved the ImplicitEx contract to spend USDC, an approval transaction is required first. Approving the USDC allowance does not send funds. A separate confirmation is required to execute the transfer. The Transfer Portal handles this sequence and explains each step.

Network Scope

ImplicitEx operates on the Polygon (PoS) mainnet only (chain ID 137). No other networks are supported. The Transfer Portal will show a network warning if the connected wallet is on a different chain.

Token Scope

Only USDC issued by Circle on Polygon PoS is supported. The canonical USDC contract address is 0x3c499c542cEF5E3811e1192ce70d8cC03d5c3359. Do not use this interface with other stablecoins, wrapped assets, or ERC-20 tokens. Transfers of unsupported tokens through the portal are not possible by contract design.

Transfer Limits

During the current soft-launch period:

• Minimum transfer: 1.00 USDC
• Maximum transfer: 250.00 USDC per transaction

These limits are enforced by the smart contract. They may change as production readiness work continues.

Fee Destination

The platform fee is routed to the ImplicitEx treasury address at the time of transfer execution. It is not held in user accounts and is not refundable once a transfer is confirmed on-chain.

No Fee for Browsing or Preview

Connecting a wallet, entering transfer details, reviewing the preview, or disconnecting does not incur any fee. Fees are only charged when a transfer is successfully executed on-chain.
